Job summary

Hertford client is seeking a friendly Temporary Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming, professional approach and support for day-to-day reception operations.

The role offers an immediate start on an ongoing temporary basis, working Monday to Friday with varied hours; the longest day runs from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Salary is £13.33 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous reception, customer service or administration experience would be advantageous
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• Friendly, approachable and well presented
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable working varied hours across Monday to Friday
• Available to start immediately

Responsibilities

• Welcoming visitors and directing them appropriately
• Answering and transferring incoming telephone calls
• Responding to general enquiries in a professional manner
• Managing the reception area and ensuring it remains welcoming and organised
• Supporting with general administration as required
• Liaising with colleagues and visitors throughout the day
