Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver in Bicester on a temporary, full-time basis. You will start at the local delivery office, sort and load mail, and deliver by foot or vehicle. Shifts run 8am–6pm, Monday to Friday with weekend availability; 37 hours weekly and £13.69 per hour.

Must be physically fit, lift up to 16–20 kg, and work outdoors in all weather. At the assignment’s core is reliable customer service, safety, and independence while delivering mail across the route.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (6 points max, clean licence preferred).
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle, up to 8 miles daily.
• Use handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Lift mail bags up to 16 kg and parcels up to 20 kg.
