Job summary

Group Lotus is recruiting General Operatives and Material Coordinators to support fast-paced production across assembly, paint, logistics and material handling in Norfolk and Norwich. These temporary roles offer immediate start and valuable hands-on experience in a leading automotive environment.

You’ll work as part of a team, following documented processes, meeting quality targets, stocking and moving materials, and supporting production lines.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written instructions and documented processes.
• Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity for operative roles.
• Flexibility to work across production areas and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fit, or prepare component parts and panels using hand or power tools.
• Inspect, prepare, or rework components following documented processes.
• Support daily production output by meeting quality and quantity targets.
• Report shortages, defects, or process concerns to team leaders.
• Move, stock and distribute materials across production areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
