Job summary

Group Lotus is seeking General Operators to join the Manufacturing – Trim team in Norfolk. This hands-on role supports preparation, trimming, finishing and assembly of vehicle interior components, with quality and craftsmanship at the forefront.

You will work in a busy workshop, follow defined processes, meet production targets, and use sewing machines, templates, and adhesives to fit trim materials. The role is agency, 38 hours per week, with training provided on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Experience with leather, fabric or trim materials.
• Basic trimming, sewing or upholstery skills.
• Able to read written instructions and work to defined production times.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, measure, cut trim materials using patterns and templates.
• Operate sewing machines to join trim materials and perform stitching.
• Support embroidery processes for logos and decorative features.
• Remove and replace trim materials in preparation for retrimming.
• Apply adhesives correctly to materials and components.
• Position and bond leather, fabric, foam and other materials.
• Trim and finish materials with proper seams and alignment.
• Assemble and fit completed trim components.
• Inspect finished work for defects and ensure quality.
