Job summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor for a busy HR function in a manufacturing setting. The role is temporary (1-2 months) with an immediate start, based onsite in Wrexham and working Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.

You will advise on grievances and disciplinary matters, ensure legal compliance, and support managers through formal HR processes with strong stakeholder engagement and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within an Employee Relations Advisor, HR Advisor or HR Generalist role.
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing or advising on grievance and disciplinary processes.
• Ability to review complex situations and provide practical, legally compliant recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and hit the ground running in a busy environment.
• CIPD qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support on employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary matters and appeals.
• Review ongoing cases, assess available information and recommend appropriate next steps.
• Ensure all employee relations activities comply with current employment legislation and company policies.
• Support managers through formal HR processes, providing guidance and best practice recommendations.
• Prepare and review relevant documentation, reports and case records.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards when handling sensitive employee matters.
• Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure cases are progressed efficiently and effectively.
