Zusammenfassung

People Solutions is seeking a Service Driver for Aldridge, West Midlands. The role involves operating 3.5-tonne vehicles, servicing client sites, and swapping out equipment with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will work rota-based shifts from 08:00 to 16:00, five days out of seven, with weekend work and an on-site canteen. The position offers weekly pay, ongoing work, and clear opportunities for progression.

Qualifikationen

• Valid UK Category B driving licence.
• At least 12 months' experience driving Category B vehicles.
• No more than six penalty points and no major endorsements.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Excellent punctuality and time management.
• Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.
• Effective communication skills.
• The ability to provide excellent customer service.

Aufgaben

• Swapping out equipment on client sites.
• Servicing equipment on client sites.
• Carrying out general yard duties.
• Operating and driving 3.5-tonne vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensuring all loads are secure before transport.
• Adhering to UK traffic laws and company procedures.
• Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers.
• Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Assisting with loading and unloading when required.
