Job summary

FMG RS is recruiting a Paint Technician for our busy Accrington workshop. The role offers a competitive up-to-£24 per hour salary plus uncapped bonuses and an opportunity to be at the forefront of major changes within the group.

You will be ATA/IMI qualified (or equivalent) and able to sign off your own work to high standards, working within a supportive team to ensure vehicles are repaired and returned on time.

• High-quality finishing with accurate colour matching.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures and tidy workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, prime and refinish vehicle panels to a high-quality standard.
• Meet productivity and quality targets with attention to detail.
• Follow health and safety procedures and keep workspace clean and compliant.
• Collaborate with workshop team to ensure timely vehicle return to customers.

As a Paint Technician, we know there's no better feeling than seeing a customer's vehicle at the front of the workshop, ready for collection-it's what our business is built on.

This role is the first of its kind within FMGRS, and you'll be at the forefront of the exciting changes to come. You'll be ATA/IMI qualified (or equivalent) and confident signing off your own work to the highest standards.

As a Paint Technician, you will be expected to:

• Prepare, prime and refinish vehicle panels to a high-quality, manufacturer-approved standard, ensuring accurate colour matching and a flawless finish.
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and quality targets while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and keep your work area clean, organised and compliant.
• Work collaboratively with the wider workshop team to ensure vehicles are repaired and returned to customers on time.
