Job description

We are seeking a talented Image Editor to join our dynamic eCommerce team at Nisbets.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the creation of high-end photography and images, working closely with our photographer to ensure all assets meet our established best practices. You will handle end-to-end editing and post-production of images, review supplier images, and support new product launches.

This role offers a hybrid working environment after a period of training, with 3 days in our Avonmouth office and 2 days working from home.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Retouch and edit a high volume of product shots, including studio, lifestyle, and model images, to meet agreed deadlines.
2. Coordinate with photographers and stakeholders to ensure images reflect the brief and adhere to best practices.
3. Review and retouch supplier images to ensure they meet quality standards.
4. Assist the photographer in preparing and delivering shoots as required.
5. Maintain and organise project files for easy access to assets.

Capabilities, Skills and Experience Required:

1. Proficient in digital retouching, pathing, colour grading, and compositing.
2. Working knowledge of digital photography.
3. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across teams.
4. Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
5. Creative with a keen eye for detail.
6. Experienced user of Adobe Photoshop.
7. Advanced skills in using both PC and Mac.
8. Advanced user of Microsoft Office.
9. Desirable: Experience with Lightroom, Bridge, Capture One, and video editing.
