An exciting opportunity for a passionate Service Operations Manager to join a unique, multi-national Information Management function. Salary

Circa £70,000 depending on experience


Location

Stevenage, Bolton, Bristol


Dynamic (hybrid) working

1-2 days per week on-site depending on business requirements.


Security Clearance

British Citizen. This role will require DV Clearance. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

We seek a detail-oriented, experienced Service Operations Manager with a strong background in workplace & infrastructure technologies.

Responsibilities include leading the continuous delivery of workplace & infrastructure services, overseeing vulnerability management, ensuring proactive risk mitigation, security compliance, and ongoing improvements to safeguard MBDA operations.

What we're looking for:
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and developing IT teams.
  • Ability to make effective decisions under pressure and resolve issues quickly.
  • Extensive experience with workplace & infrastructure technology, including compliance and innovation.
  • Leadership skills across diverse disciplines and international teams.
  • Knowledge of data centre management, capacity, incident, and asset management.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows OS, Exchange, Active Directory, Group Policy).
  • Broad understanding of servers, storage, and infrastructure applications.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity threats and response strategies.
  • Experience with software management and contract optimization (Microsoft Enterprise, Oracle).
  • Experience working in multicultural environments, international harmonisation, and standard setting.
