Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an ILS Support Engineer to review supplier data and develop solutions across ILS processes, tools, and systems. The role emphasizes problem solving, mentoring, and delivering compliant ILS outputs aligned with contract requirements.

You will work with cross-functional teams, including customer representatives and suppliers, to discuss issues, validate data, and implement project changes while maintaining high standards of quality.

Qualifications

• Understanding of ILS (DEF STAN 00-600 and JSP 886) and Support Functions within major Projects.
• Ability to carry out detailed data analysis and validation, make evaluative judgments.
• LSAR knowledge and capability to interrogate supplier data for informed recommendations.
• Proven ability to think outside the box and apply consultative approaches across the programme to drive changes.

Responsibilities

• Applies proven techniques and procedures to understand Support requirements and develop solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve issues for ILS Support related situations.
• Typically coaches and mentors other ILS Support engineers; communicates technical matters effectively.
• Works with technical autonomy and upholds ILS principles and values.
• Supports NATO Codification activities; collaborates to ensure effective integration and delivery.
• Delivers ILS outputs consistent with contractual requirements (time, quality, budget).
• Produces procedures and process instructions to standardize team work.
