Job summary

Fortress Recruit Limited is recruiting an ILS Engineer in Fareham to support a major asset refresh programme. You will model reliability, supportability and sustainment using engineering data, helping inform investment decisions and reduce long-term asset risk.

You'll work with Engineering, Asset Management, Projects and Supply Chain, delivering insights via Excel and Power BI and advising on whole life costing and lifecycle decisions. Hybrid working and a competitive package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in ILS, Asset Management or related discipline with data analysis skills.
• Ability to model reliability, sustainment and lifecycle decisions using data.
• Strong Excel and Power BI experience for engineering/financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Produce Reliability Block Diagrams and reports to verify MTBF/MTBR.
• Analyse asset data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Develop Excel and Power BI models to support decisions.
• Provide analytical support to asset refresh programmes.
• Support spares scaling to optimise spend and reduce risk.
• Model sustainment options using real-world and theoretical data.
• Contribute to whole life cost analyses and assess financial impact.
• Present findings clearly to Asset Managers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Service Management and Projects to manage asset risks.
