Ingersoll Rand in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a production operative to assemble raw materials and components, test products, and ensure quality according to strict guidelines and practices. This is a full-time on-site role with training provided.

The ideal candidate has a practical mindset and attention to detail; some experience with hand tools or electronics is helpful. Training will be provided to enable progression within the company, with a clear development pathway.

Qualifications

• Experience with technical skills, interests, or precision work is beneficial.
• Experience with hand tools, electrical/electronics, mechanics is helpful.
• 2+ years as a production operative/assembler or similar.
• ERP systems in a production environment preferred.
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Assemble raw materials and components to build our product(s) or system(s).
• Accurate record keeping during test and assembly process.
• Assist in preparation of IIoT products, their labelling, packaging and dispatch.
• Perform visual inspection and testing of finished products.
• Ensure a high quality of service to the customer
• Adhere to Health and Safety requirements and company procedures.
• Prepare and clean equipment and supplies to maintain tidy work area and lean manufacturing.
