Position Overview:
The IFM Lead serves as the primary strategic lead and operational authority for the organization’s physical assets and working environments. This pivotal role goes beyond day-to-day management, acting as the architect of a holistic, integrated service delivery model. You are responsible for transforming complex facilities operations into a strategic asset that drives employee well-being, optimizes productivity, and directly supports the client’s broader business objectives through a partnership-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Program Integration
- Unified Service Delivery: Lead the integration of the overall service delivery model, seamlessly blending technical engineering (hard services) and facilities management (soft services) to provide a unified property services solution.
- Portfolio Strategy: Develop and execute multi-year workplace strategies that align with organizational goals, emphasizing innovation, brand identity, and long-term asset value.
- Change Management: Champion the research, evaluation, and adoption of cutting-edge workplace technologies and programs, driving organizational change management for widespread adoption and lasting impact.
- Governance & Compliance: Lead day-to-day operations with an uncompromising focus on statutory compliance, governance, and the continuous development of customer operational responsibility.
Operational Efficiency & Financial Stewardship
- Budget Oversight: Provide expert management of capital and operating budgets, ensuring astute financial stewardship and rigorous control over direct/indirect expenses, preventative maintenance, and project/capital items.
- Cost-Benefit Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis for all facilities projects, ensuring maximum value and alignment with long-term financial health and client business needs.
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Strategically negotiate and manage high-value vendor and contractor agreements. Act as a leader in RFP development, SOW creation, SLA/KPI development, and performance monitoring.
- Audit & Reporting: Implement robust audit protocols and financial reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency, accountability, and consistent performance across the portfolio.
Client Relations & Stakeholder Engagement
- Strategic Partnership: Serve as the single point of contact and primary escalation point for key client stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Data-Driven Insights: Develop compelling executive narratives by translating operational data and occupant feedback into actionable insights, demonstrating clear ROI and return on experience.
- Vendor & Landlord Relations: Maintain positive, strategic relationships with local landlords and third-party partners, representing the organization’s interests to ensure full alignment with portfolio objectives.
- Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve complex, portfolio-level challenges, ensuring that service delivery evolves in tandem with the client’s changing business needs.

Required Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive operational experience with a primary emphasis on Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) services.
- Financial Acumen: Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets, conduct complex cost-benefit analyses, and oversee capital planning.
- Strategic Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading complex, multi-site workplace transformations and large-scale change management initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to engage, negotiate, and influence across all levels, including senior client executives and external partners.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) policies; statutory compliance; and industry-standard audit protocols. IOSH Minimum.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFM, FMP) are preferred.
