Job Description:

We’re representing a well-established and growing financial planning firm that is looking to bring an experienced IFA professional into their team. The role can be either as an Administrator or a Trainee Paraplanner, depending on your goals.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently in a similar role or with a background in pensions and investments to join a friendly, professional environment where attention to detail is highly valued.

The Role

You will support advisers by ensuring client records are up to date, accurate, and compliant. The role involves various administrative duties, especially around client reviews, requiring strong communication skills when dealing with providers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Updating client plans and personal information on the back office system
  • Managing details such as plan start dates, contribution and withdrawal schedules, and wrapper data
  • Liaising with external providers across product ranges to obtain accurate valuation and fund information
  • Requesting electronic valuations via Gateway
  • Downloading fund fact sheets and ensuring correct funds are used
  • Producing Annual Review Packs for adviser meetings
  • Preparing fund fact sheets and simple post-review (MIFID) letters
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an IFA environment
  • Understanding of pensions and investment products
  • High accuracy and strong data entry skills
  • Organized, methodical, and capable of managing multiple tasks
  • Confident communicator with a good phone manner
  • Proactive team player who can work independently
