Job summary

Reed in Edinburgh is seeking an IFA Administrator to support a high performing Financial Adviser with client service, research, and technical duties. You will handle cashflow modelling, pension calculations, and regulatory compliance while contributing to portfolio analysis and ongoing reviews.

The role offers development toward a Paraplanner path and a collaborative, client-focused team in a respected independent firm.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a Financial Adviser environment.
• Good knowledge of pensions, investments, protection products, and trusts.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with Intelligent Office and CashCalc desirable.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out technical investment and pension calculations.
• Prepare and present cashflow modelling scenarios to clients.
• Research and compare products for adviser analysis.
• Ensure compliance with FCA and regulatory standards.
• Process new business applications, fund switches, withdrawals, and rebalances.
• Draft suitability letters and reports for adviser approval.
• Maintain accurate client data and back-office systems.
• Support the Admin Team through regular training.
• Liaise with clients, advisers, and providers to resolve queries.
