Co-op is seeking an Identity Engineer to join its Information Security team in Manchester. You’ll shape our identity and access management strategy, ensuring the right people have access to the right systems at the right time across the organisation.

You’ll work on SSO, automated joiners/movers/leavers, RBAC controls, and partner with internal teams and external providers to deliver secure, scalable identity solutions in a hybrid environment with two in-office days per month.

Qualifications

• Experience with identity platforms in large organisations.
• Experience on projects, including service transition.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, IdentityIQ or Active Roles.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and deliver strategic improvements across key systems like AD, IdentityIQ, Azure AD/EntraID, and One Identity Active Roles.
• Keep systems running smoothly with no capacity or outstanding issues.
• Align identity platforms with the needs of the business.
• Contribute to identity maturity initiatives, new application rollouts, and process improvements.
• Build strong relationships internally and externally to drive innovation and service improvements.
• Manage day-to-day activities with third-party providers, including escalations and knowledge sharing.
• Join the on-call rota once settled in to the role.
