Job summary

Laisterdyke Leadership Academy, Bradford, is seeking an ICT/Business Support Technician to join its busy school team. You will help deliver an outstanding learning environment by solving software and hardware issues, managing the ICT network and procuring, installing and maintaining educational and office software and hardware.

You’ll be a committed team player with strong organisational skills, a dedication to customer service and the ability to build relationships across the Star Academies

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*- C.
  • Experience of troubleshooting software and hardware issues in a timely manner.
  • Experience of managing an ICT network effectively.

About Laisterdyke Leadership Academy

Laisterdyke Leadership Academy is a secondary school in Bradford. We joined Star Academies in 2016 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism.


The school was rated ‘good’ in all four areas of the inspection framework during its inspection in January 2023.

We’re looking for a talented individual to provide an exceptional business support service to our pupils, teachers and wider stakeholders. As a key member of our school’s business support team, your expertise will help to deliver an outstanding learning environment for our young people.


The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and specialist technical skills. You will have extensive experience of delivering outstanding customer service and possess the ability to develop relationships across our school and the Star community.



You will have:


  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*- C.

  • Experience of trouble-shooting software and hardware issues in a timely manner.

  • Experience of managing an ICT network effectively.

  • The ability to procure, install and manage educational and office software.

  • The ability to procure, install and manage educational and office hardware.
