Job summary

Maldon District Council is seeking an ICT Technical Analyst to provide specialist technical support for ICT and digital projects and to work with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.

This full-time role offers hybrid working with attendance in the office two days per week, a salary from £43,330.36 to £48,825.81 per annum, and a range of benefits under the Essex Shared Services partnership. Closing date is 28 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Educated to A level standard or equivalent with IT focus.
• Relevant IT or digital project support experience preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning in ICT systems and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist technical support for ICT and digital projects and BAU work with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with council policies, standards, governance and relevant legislation on ICT projects.
• Support delivery of ICT systems, infrastructure and application changes to enable service delivery.

Education

A-level or equivalent

NVQ Level 3 or IT-related qualification
