ICT Teacher - SEN School, Southampton - September start

Academics are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable ICT Teacher to join a thriving SEN School in Southampton on a full-time, permanent contract. This position is to start in September.

They are looking for an engaging ICT teacher who enjoys teaching in an SEN environment. You must have a passion for working with children and young people with additional needs, including Autism and Challenging Behaviours.

You will be required to plan and deliver ICT lessons across the school to meet the individual learning needs of the students. Due to the nature of the setting, this role suits someone who can offer variety and enjoys adapting lessons to keep children engaged.

You must be an ICT teacher or have recent experience of planning and delivering ICT lessons up to KS4.

The school is a mixed 7-16, local authority-funded SEN day school in Southampton, primarily for children with high-functioning ASD. They have a team with extensive experience in special education and therapeutic support for pupils whose needs cannot be met in mainstream settings.
