Job summary

Bridgewater Housing Association is seeking an experienced ICT Manager to lead the organisation's digital future and strengthen cyber resilience. Reporting to the Director of Finance and IT, you will shape the ICT function, ensure secure business systems, and drive innovation to support excellent services for communities.

• Experience managing ICT infrastructure, cloud services and Microsoft 365 environments.

• Knowledge of cyber security, information governance, business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience developing ICT or digital strategies and supporting organisational improvement.
• Experience supervising, mentoring or managing staff.

Responsibilities

Bridgewater Housing Association is a registered social landlord based in Erskine.We manage 864 mainstream, amenity plus, and extra care properties, together with 500 lock-up garages and provide a factoring service to around 2700 owner occupiers.We also manage the largest Care & Repair service in Scotland covering Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, and Inverclyde.

About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and innovative ICT professional to join Bridgewater Housing Association as our ICT Manager.

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance and IT, this is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering the Association's digital future. The successful candidate will lead our ICT function, ensuring that technology, cyber security, business systems and digital services support the delivery of excellent services to our customers and communities.

Bridgewater Housing Association owns and manages over 850 homes across Renfrewshire and is committed to delivering high-quality services, investing in our communities and embracing innovation to improve customer outcomes. Technology plays a vital role in achieving these ambitions and this role will be at the heart of that journey.

What You'll Do

As ICT Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic development, management and continuous improvement of the Association's ICT infrastructure, business systems and digital services.

You will:

• Lead the delivery of the Association's Digital and ICT Strategy.
• Ensure our ICT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environment, communications systems and business applications remain secure, resilient and fit for purpose.
• Provide professional advice and recommendations to the Board, Executive Team and colleagues on ICT, cyber security, information governance and emerging technologies.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives that improve customer experience, service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships, technology contracts and external ICT support providers.
• Oversee cyber security, business continuity, disaster recovery and information governance arrangements.
• Develop opportunities for innovation, automation and the responsible use of artificial intelligence technologies.
• Directly line manage the ICT Assistant and support the development of digital skills across the organisation.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking individual who can combine strong technical expertise with strategic leadership and excellent people skills.

You will have:

• Experience managing ICT infrastructure, cloud services, business systems and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience delivering ICT projects and technology change programmes.
• Experience managing suppliers, contracts and ICT procurement activities.
• Knowledge of cyber security, information governance, business continuity and disaster recovery principles.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience of developing ICT or digital strategies and supporting organisational improvement.
• Experience of supervising, mentoring or managing staff.
• A commitment to continuous improvement, innovation and excellent customer service.

Experience within social housing, local government, the charity sector or another regulated environment would be advantageous.
