Job Title: ICT/Computing Teacher

Location: The Wenlock School, Dudley, West Midlands, DY1 3SB

Salary: Up to GBP42,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday 08:15 - 16:30, Tuesday - Friday 08:15 - 15:45

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

About the role

We now have a fantastic opportunity for an ICT/Computing Teacher to join our close-knit team at The Wenlock School in Dudley, West Midlands. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching and learning in ICT and Computing, planning lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the wider school curriculum and ICT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, deliver, and teach students or small groups according to the School's Curriculum framework.
  2. Monitor, record, and report on student progress.
  3. Contribute to and help implement developments related to the School Development Plan.
  4. Promote the physical, educational, and moral development of students in line with company policies.
  5. Develop and implement learning environments and programs tailored to individual students to ensure appropriate progression.
  6. Coordinate teaching, development, assessment, and reporting across key stages as agreed with the Headteacher.
  7. Devise, implement, and review individual education and behavior plans in collaboration with staff.
  8. Organize classroom resources, student groupings, and displays to create a stimulating learning environment.
  9. Ensure student safety through proper planning and risk assessments, both on and off-site.
Qualifications
  • UK QTS or equivalent
  • Experience working with SEND students
