Job description

We are seeking a full-time ICT Associate Director within the Building Engineering Division. This role is to be based in one of AECOM's UK Offices.

About the role

As part of AECOM’s Security & Technology team, the group provides ICT design and support services to complement and enhance the design activities of the Mechanical and Electrical teams.

The role involves designing ICT systems across various sectors, including office fit-out, mixed-use, industrial, and government organizations.

Key responsibilities

1. Design of communication rooms, ICT cabinets, structured cabling, telecoms, wireless networks, LAN switch networks, and connected real estate.
2. Support and interface with third-party IP-based technologies such as CCTV, access control, AV, multimedia, IPTV, digital signage, room booking systems, and integrated building systems.
3. Participate in site inspections, test result analysis, and witness testing during construction phases.

Qualifications and requirements

• Proven extensive experience in a design consultancy environment.
• Certified Network Infrastructure Design Professional (CNIDP) qualification.
