The Shetland Islands Council is seeking an ICT Assistant based at Computer Centre, Garthspool, Lerwick. This permanent full-time role is 37 hours per week across 52.18 weeks per year and involves first line user support and administrative duties for the ICT Unit.
We offer flexible working and cover interview expenses from within Shetland. Salary includes Distant Islands Allowance and relocation is not applicable.
The ICT assistant will provide first line user support and customer service for SIC
supported ICT equipment and services, as defined by ITIL v3. This is a highly visible
customer facing role. This will include working as part of a team to maintain ICT services.
The ICT Assistant will also undertake a range of duties associated with financial and
administrative support to the ICT Unit.
