BBC in London is seeking an ICFR-focused Finance Specialist to help implement the BBC ICFR framework and manage financial reporting risk.

You will work with Group Finance Risk and Control to document FSLIs, test controls, and support attestation, with a background as a qualified accountant.

This twelve-month contract offers £50,000–£60,000 p.a. plus London weighting and flexible working discussions at offer stage.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant.
• Good knowledge of ICFR / SOX frameworks and Audit principles.
• Ability to identify issues and risks in relation to financial reporting.
• Experience supporting finance projects and ad-hoc requests with a risk perspective.
• Ability to translate financial requirements to non ICFR stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Support the implementation of a robust ICFR framework.
• Support Process workshops to document in-scope Financial Statement Lines (FSLIs).
• Gain understanding of processes, risks and controls to enable challenge of Process and control owners.
• Support walkthroughs and control design effectiveness testing.
• Evidence understanding of FSLIs from initiation of transaction through to the General Ledger
• Complete Operational Effectiveness testing – design appropriate test plans and evidence testing in line with audit principles.
• Support the remediation of control deficiencies through SME support for control owners.
• Support ICFR reporting – ensure reporting is accurate for all relevant forums and committees.
• Support the annual ICFR attestation/certification process.
