Job summary

Dumfries Ice Bowl is recruiting a part-time Leisure Attendant for 17 hours per week, primarily covering Friday, Saturday and Sunday with early mornings and evenings. You will support safety, steward ice operations, carry out cleaning and equipment setup, and assist with ice making.

Experience with the public and a customer-focused approach are essential; a First Aid certificate and basic leisure qualification are desirable. PVG checks apply prior to offer.

Qualifications

• PVG scheme checks may be required before offer.
• First Aid certificate desirable.
• Basic leisure qualification desirable.
• Experience working with the public, including children, is essential.
• Ability to skate is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general leisure attendant duties to ensure customer safety.
• Ice stewarding, assisting with ice making and ensuring a safe environment.
• Cleaning tasks and setting up/dismantling sports equipment.
• Actively promote Dumfries Ice Bowl and Leisure activities.
• Communicate effectively with the public and staff.
