Job summary

Saffery Champness in Inverness is offering a Graduate Accounts/Audit Trainee position for September 2027, with study towards the ICAS qualification. You will gain hands-on experience in either Accounts or Audit while building confidence in financial reporting and business insight within a supportive, client-focused team.

Qualifications

• 2:1 undergraduate degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 120 UCAS points from top 3 A Levels/Highers (or equivalent).
• GCSEs: minimum 6 (B) in Maths and English Language.
• AAT Level 4 qualification may exempt you from part of ICAS syllabus.

Responsibilities

• Work with financial data using accounting systems and digital tools.
• Support preparation and review of financial information and reports for clients.
• Build understanding of how businesses operate and their financial processes.
• Develop relationships with clients and colleagues in a collaborative team.
• Produce accurate, high-quality work and help meet deadlines.
• Analyse financial information and identify discrepancies for review.
• Gain exposure to multiple industries and client types.
