Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional service to customers in branch and delivering on Brewers service reputation.
• Using product knowledge to guide customers to the best products.
• Making contactless deliveries in and around the local area, and to other branches.
• Mixing paint for customers, processing specialist orders, and requesting stock.
• Building relationships with customers to identify needs and provide a full service.
• Keeping the warehouse organized and safe according to company standards.
• Promoting seasonal items and merchandising goods to increase sales.
• Unloading deliveries and distributing stock within the store.

We have a great opportunity for a reliable and experienced IBT Driver with Retail Sales Advisor Duties to join the team at our Brewers Decorator Centre in Birkenhead. You will play a vital part in keeping our delivery service running smoothly and efficiently by making deliveries into our stores and to customers across the region.

Conveniently located immediately off the A41 New Chester Road, near Green Lane train station and Cammell Laird shipyard. Our Birkenhead Decorating Centre carries an impressive range of trade and designer paints, wallcoverings and decorating materials and equipment. Our friendly and experienced team have a wealth of knowledge between them so if you are looking to expand your knowledge in our industry, you will be in the best place to do it. The branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm and Saturday 8am - 5pm.

As a Driver with Sales Advisor Duties for Brewers, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional service to customers in branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service
• Using product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs
• Making contactless deliveries to customers in and around the local area driving our Company Transit van, as well as deliveries to other branches in the region
• Mix paint for Customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network
• Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service
• Keep our warehouse organised and safe, in line with company standards
• Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales
• Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store

Who We Are Looking For To Join Our Team

• A reliable driver with a valid licence who has experience driving a transit van and making multi drop deliveries
• Experience driving professionally
• Experience/knowledge of using a digital tachograph
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues
• Familiar with the local area
• Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can be relied upon to always work as an individual
• Keen to learn and develop skills
