Job summary

North Bristol NHS is seeking an IBD Support Nurse to join the gastroenterology team at Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. The role involves patient education, triage, advising patients, and supporting advanced therapies in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will work with the Lead IBD Nurse Specialist and MDT, provide information and clinical advice, participate in nurse-led clinics, and help maintain patient records while delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Gastroenterology or related experience.
• Excellent communication and IT skills.
• Able to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Nurse-led clinics for IBD patients and in-patient education.
• Provide education, triage and clinical advice via the IBD service.
• Maintain accurate patient records and support monitoring of treatment.
