Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Exeter is seeking a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Eastern Inflammatory Bowel Disease team. You will deliver expert IBD care, run nurse-led clinics, and support patients and families across the Eastern and Northern services.

The post involves managing a defined caseload, coordinating care with a large MDT, and contributing to service development and education for staff and students.

Qualifications

• Experience in IBD care and care delivery.
• Ability to manage a patient caseload and organise workload.
• CPD and teaching to staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist IBD care and manage nurse-led clinics.
• Deliver IV and subcutaneous therapy and venepuncture.
• Lead day-to-day management of Gastro Day Unit.
• Provide teaching and professional development for staff and students.
