Genomics England is seeking an IAM Platform and Services Engineer within the Business Systems Team. You will design, build and maintain enterprise IAM/AAA solutions across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments, contributing to a future-ready cloud platform.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Security, Information Governance, Architecture, Software, QA and Platform engineering, with a strong focus on automation, DevOps, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• IAM capabilities across authentication, authorisation and accountability.
• Experience with IAM tooling and governance.
• Awareness of cloud and on-prem integration and IaC practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement IAM policies and controls.
• Collaborate with DevOps to enable automation.
• Provide operational support and incident response for IAM services.
• Develop and maintain engineering templates and enablement materials.
• Implement IaC to automate deployments and reduce manual work.
