Job summary

Genomics England is seeking an IAM Platform and Services Engineer to join the Business Systems Team. You will design, build and maintain enterprise IAM/AAA solutions, collaborating across Security, Governance, Architecture and Platform engineering to support a scalable cloud platform.

This mission-critical role emphasizes automation, DevOps collaboration, and an inclusive culture, with opportunities to influence engineering decisions and enable modern IAM tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience with IAM protocols and IAM tooling.
• Ability to design and implement IAM/AAA controls.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud and on-prem infra.
• Desire to learn and adapt to new IAM technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate and improve IAM policies and controls.
• Manage authentication, authorisation and accountability (AAA).
• Collaborate with DevOps to enable automation and IaC.
• Provide operational support and knowledge transfer across teams.
• Develop and maintain engineering templates and enablement content.
