Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a Cyber Security Identity & Access Manager to lead the IAM capability across the enterprise, ensuring the right people have access to the right resources at the right time while balancing strong security with a positive user experience.

You will collaborate with cyber security, IT and business teams to deliver zero trust initiatives, meet regulatory obligations, and shape IAM strategy across cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, implementing and managing enterprise-scale IAM programmes.
• Strong knowledge of IGA, RBAC and PAM.
• Experience with Joiner, Mover and Leaver processes and access certification reviews.
• Expertise in authentication technologies: SSO, MFA and passwordless auth.
• Effective stakeholder engagement and ability to deliver measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the IAM strategy, roadmap and operating model.
• Develop IAM frameworks, policies and standards for ISO 27001 and related requirements.
• Guide identity lifecycle management across Joiners, Movers and Leavers.
• Establish governance for authentication, authorisation and access control.
• Identify automation and continuous improvement opportunities in IAM.
• Ensure IAM controls align with business risk and regulatory obligations.
• Collaborate with technology and business teams to deliver secure identity solutions.
