Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking a Head of Secure Access & Trust to define and lead the organisation's IAM and Zero Trust strategy, ensuring secure, scalable access for people, devices, applications and AI agents. You will govern identity lifecycle, access controls and platform services across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will collaborate with CTO, CISO and engineering leaders to strengthen security posture while enabling business growth, resilience and secure delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience defining and leading IAM and Zero Trust strategies in large organisations.
• Deep expertise in identity governance, privileged access management, authentication and authorization.
• Strong leadership of secure access platforms with scalable, resilient services.
• Ability to balance cyber risk, regulatory compliance and business growth.
• Excellent stakeholder management and experience leading multidisciplinary teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the Secure Access & Trust strategy and roadmaps.
• Own enterprise identity governance across people, devices, apps, services and AI agents.
• Lead platform with authentication, authorization, directory, remote and privileged access.
• Enable secure engineering through reusable platform capabilities and self-service APIs.
• Drive risk reduction and resilience through incident response and governance.
