Job summary

INEOS Chemicals Grangemouth Limited in Grangemouth, Scotland, invites applications for a Shift I&E technician. The role focuses on installing, maintaining and improving plant equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation and to meet plant demand on a 12-hour shift pattern.

You will provide 24/7 support to shift teams across the site, perform first-fix responses for defined I&E issues, and help develop the I&E team with hands-on maintenance, fault diagnosis and safe working practices.

Qualifications

• Maintenance technician with proven track record across Instrument and Electrical maintenance.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Flexible, able to work under pressure and use initiative; proficient with computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and improve plant equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Provide 24/7 assistance to shift teams for non-routine, high priority maintenance issues.
• Record progress and details of work in Maximo maintenance system and maintain equipment history.
• Mentor trainees and assist in preparation and updating of plant instructions and procedures.
