Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a CNC Programmer (HyperMill) for a contract role in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. You will program a variety of precision components across multiple materials, delivering high quality results within tight lead times.

The position is a minimum 3-month contract, outside IR35, with flexible shift patterns and competitive rates. Candidates should have strong HyperMill experience and a proven ability to work under demanding production deadlines.

CNC Programmer (HyperMill) - Contract Opportunity

Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire

Minimum 3-Month Contract

Outside IR35 (subject to individual assessment)

Shift Options

• Dayshift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm
• Weekend Dayshift: Friday to Sunday, 6:00am to 6:30pm

Rates

• Dayshift - £30.45/hr PAYE (holiday pay paid upfront)
• Dayshift - £27.15/hr PAYE (holiday pay accrued separately)
• Dayshift - £35.71/hr LTD
• Weekend Dayshift - £34.25/hr PAYE (holiday pay paid upfront)
• Weekend Dayshift - £30.56/hr PAYE (holiday pay accrued separately)
• Weekend Dayshift - £40.18/hr LTD

The Role

You will be responsible for programming a wide variety of precision-engineered components across different materials and levels of complexity. The successful candidate will be comfortable working to short lead times while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Requirements

• HyperMill experience is essential
• Strong CNC programming background
• Experience programming complex components across a range of materials
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Confident working to demanding production deadlines

Desirable Experience

• Experience with Vericut
• Motorsport or Formula 1 experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• Candidates from aerospace, motorsport, automotive, defence, and precision engineering backgrounds are encouraged to apply
