Job summary

IPL Sittingbourne is seeking a Hygienist to join the onsite Hygiene Team at our largest produce site. The role covers night shifts (7pm–7am) on a 4 on/4 off schedule, working site-based in Sittingbourne with a focus on cleaning, hygiene procedures and paperwork.

The ideal candidate has experience in a factory setting, understands health and safety policies, and can work quickly and methodically as part of a team. Training and food safety or COSHH qualifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within a factory environment.
• Previous hygiene experience is desirable.
• Understanding of Health and Safety policies in the work place.
• The ability to work quickly and methodically.
• Good team working skills.
• The ability to follow instructions.
• Willing to take any training required for this role.
• Food Safety Level 1 or equivalent - Desirable
• COSHH certification - Desirable

Responsibilities

• Completing of all daily cleaning procedures as listed in washer area cleaning schedule
• Cleaning of 2 grader lanes each evening
• Ensure floor area and grids under washers are cleaned removing all potatoes
• Ensure all chemicals are used under COSHH regulations and all chemicals and equipment are stored neatly and hygienically in the correct storage cupboards
• Responsible for completing of all paperwork on a daily basis ,reporting any issues or damage found when cleaning to leaders

About the Role

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Hygienist to become a vital part of our onsite Hygiene Team at our largest produce site in Sittingbourne. Position Details

• Schedule: 4 on 4 off (Nights) - (7pm to 7am)
• Location: IPL Sittingbourne - Site Based
• Contract Type: Permanent
