Cook-9 in Ilton, Somerset is hiring a Hygiene Team Member to keep kitchen equipment spotless and uphold high safety standards. Hours are Monday to Wednesday 16:15-24:15 and Thursday 16:15-22:15. Pay is £14.00 per hour, and you must be over 18 due to late shifts.

No prior experience is required; you will be on your feet for long periods and handle lifting. You will help ensure stock readiness, follow safety procedures, and support chefs while enjoying benefits such as lunch, parking, discounts,

• Ensure a constant supply of equipment is ready and available for the kitchen, preventing any stock shortages.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe workplace by following all health and safety procedures.
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork on time.
• Promptly report defective equipment to the Senior Porter.
• Treat the kitchen as your customer, always striving to deliver exceptional service.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, active role, so you’ll need to be comfortable being on your feet for much of the day and with regular lifting, carrying, bending and reaching. We’ll always consider reasonable adjustments where these are needed.
