Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a Hygiene Team Leader Days at our Ruskington site. You will lead a team of operatives, ensure cleaning standards, and maintain schedules while adhering to Health & Safety, COSHH and Food Safety policies.

The role involves a hands-on approach, strong communication, and the ability to motivate staff to achieve consistent results. Rotating shift patterns may apply with a rest day on Sunday.

Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader / Line Leader in Hygiene.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of operatives to ensure cleaning standards and schedules are met.
• Oversee hygiene practices and compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH and Food Safety rules.
• Take ownership of tasks and support the team to achieve best results.
• Work across morning or afternoon shifts as part of a 5-out-of-6 day rolling pattern.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for Hygiene Team Leader Days to join our team at Ruskington site!

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday rotating every 4 weeks. You will work 45 hours per week as standard on permanent morning or afternoon shift.

Start & Finish times vary by department and as guidance you will either work

• 04:30am - 13:30pm or 05:45am - 14:30pm

Successful candidates will lead team of operatives and ensure that work areas, machinery and equipment are cleaned to the highest standards and cleaning schedules are met at all times.

You will take ownership of you own work and support your team in achieving best results whilst ensuring everyone complies with Company Policies and Procedures, Health & Safety, COSHH and Food Safety rules at all times.

Your duties may involve working at heights, confined spaces, cold and warm environment.

It would be desirable for candidates to have:

• Previous Experience as Team Leader / Line Leader / Hygiene Department
• A good standard of literacy and numeracy skills.
• Positive thinking and self-motivation.
• Ability to use own initiative.
• An excellent attitude to work.
• A hands-on approach to solving issues.

Our ideal candidate will need strong communication skills, great attention to detail and ability to lead and motivate the team. Previous experience working in Hygiene Department is essential.
