Job summary

AB World Foods Limited is seeking a Hygiene Operator to uphold high hygiene standards across production areas and facilities. The role focuses on thorough cleaning, adherence to schedules, and cross-functional collaboration to support safety and efficiency.

The position involves a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (06:00 to 18:00) in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, contributing to product safety and quality while supporting environmental goals and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hygiene or cleaning role within food manufacturing.
• Hands-on, proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of food safety, health & safety and GMP.
• Capable of working both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough cleaning of equipment, production areas and facilities.
• Follow hygiene schedules and procedures for health, safety and quality.
• Work across teams to maintain cleaning standards and equipment care.

What's the role about?

• Carrying out thorough cleaning of equipment, production areas, and facilities to support food safety and operational efficiency
• Following hygiene schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and quality standards
• Work cross-functionally to maintain high standards of cleaning to support equipment care and cleaning to maintain operational efficiency and product safety & quality
• Supporting waste management and recycling initiatives to help us meet our environmental goals
• Working closely with other teams to ensure smooth handovers and clear communication
• Taking pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment

How will you stand out?

• Previous experience in a hygiene or cleaning role within food manufacturing or a similar environment
