Job summary

Promatchconsultancy is recruiting a Hygiene Operative for a leading employee‑owned food production company in Alness. You will help keep production areas clean, sanitise surfaces and manage waste in a cold, wet environment.

The role offers full training, weekend overtime, 30 days holiday after 12 weeks, and a potential permanent career path within an employee‑owned business.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning (desirable).
• Strong physical capability — this is a hands‑on role in a cold, wet environment.
• Reliability, great work ethic and flexibility to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Keeping factory floors spotless and bins emptied
• Cleaning equipment and sanitising work surfaces
• Removing fish and other debris from the floor
• Tray washing
• Supporting wider hygiene tasks, including domestic cleaning cover during holiday periods

We’ve got an immediate opportunity for a reliable, hands‑on Hygiene Operative to join a leading employee‑owned food production company in Alness.

• £13.45 per hour, with overtime at £20.18 after 37.5 hours and £26.90 on Sundays
• Full‑time hours Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime
• Day shifts: 7.30/8/8.30 am – 3.30/4/4.30 pm, plus flexibility for production needs
