Pilgrim’s Europe in Hyde, Cheshire, is seeking a Stores/Despatch Hygiene Operative to join the team. You will operate the tray wash, clean equipment to hygiene standards, and support production with a steady supply of clean trays and bins.

The role requires strict adherence to GMP, health and safety, and food safety rules, with a 37.5-hour weekly shift pattern (06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00, Mon–Fri). Competitive pay offered with potential over £500 per week.

Aufgaben

• Operate the tray wash machine safely and efficiently.
• Clean trays, tote bins and equipment to the required hygiene standards.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure cleaned items meet site requirements.
• Complete daily cleaning and production records accurately.
• Report equipment faults or hygiene concerns to the appropriate department.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with GMP and Clean-As-You-Go standards.
• Support Production by ensuring a continuous supply of clean trays and tote bins.
• Assist with maintaining external site areas, including waste bins and litter control.
• Follow all Health & Safety, food safety, PPE and hygiene requirements at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a team and undertake reasonable additional duties as required.

Job details

To meet essential customer and technical standards for cleaning by ensuring equipment/area is dismantled, re-assembled and cleaned to the correct standard against Hygiene CIC’s.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the tray wash machine safely and efficiently.
• Clean trays, tote bins and equipment to the required hygiene standards.

Balanced Schedule

We have a shift pattern of working 37.5 hours a week 06.00am-14.00pm / 14.00pm - 22.00pm Monday to Friday shift pattern, giving you more time for yourself.
