Job summary

Farmfoods in Warrington is seeking a Hygiene Operative to enhance the hygiene programme in our distribution centre. You will work as part of the warehouse team to maintain a clean, safe and efficient environment.

We offer full-time permanent contracts with 5 from 7 shifts, including weekends. Shifts include day and night with hourly pay rates of £13.69 for day shifts and £14.85 for afternoons, lates and night shifts, with £10.90 for under 21.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and pride in work.
• Ability to work on own initiative and with a warehouse team.
• Willingness to follow hygiene protocols and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Day to day cleaning of the warehouse including emptying bins and operating the waste compactor.
• Collecting recyclable materials.
• Operating the bailer.
• Quickly dealing with issues such as spill and trip hazards.
• Collecting and recording of damages to assist in the reduction of waste.
• Yard maintenance.
• A Counterbalance licence would be desirable but is not essential.

Job description

We are looking for a Hygiene Operative to join our team who will be responsible for enhancing the hygiene programme in our distribution centre in Warrington.

We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available working 5 days from 7 each week, including at least one weekend day.

Shift patterns include:

• Day shift - 06:00 to 14:00
• Night shift - 22:00 to 06:00

The successful candidate will possess a high sense of pride in their work, be able to work using their own initiative and will be focussed on working alongside the warehouse team to maintain an excellent working environment.

We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.69 per hour for day shifts and £14.85 for afternoons, lates and night shifts. (£10.90 if you are under 21).
