Job summary

Stateside Foods Limited in Westhoughton is seeking a Hygiene Operative on a permanent basis. The role covers cleaning and sanitation of production equipment to ensure start-up times are met and production runs smoothly.

You will complete hygiene records, carry out first line maintenance, use correct cleaning chemicals, and assist with ad hoc hygiene tasks while following H&S and Hygiene policies. Weekend night shift Fri-Sun 22:00–06:00; team player with good communication preferred.

Qualifications

• Ideally candidates will have worked within a similar role, have good communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Food production and/or Hygiene experience is preferred however not essential.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitation of production machinery

We have a permanent opportunity within our Hygiene Department for a Hygiene Operative.

The role will be working Friday to Sunday 22.00 to 06.00.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of all production equipment ensuring production line start up times are met.

An overview of the role is detailed below:

• Cleaning and sanitation of production machinery
• Completion of hygiene records
• Carrying out 1st line maintenance and/or repairs on production machinery
• Ensuring the correct cleaning chemicals are used for the cleaning task
• Other adhoc hygiene related tasks
