Job summary

Natures Way Foods is seeking a Hygiene Operative at our Chichester facility to keep production lines clean, safe and ready for the next shift, supporting our high-quality ready-to-eat products. You will work a 14-day pattern within a 28-day cycle, with days 7am–7pm or nights 7pm–7am, and salaries listed from £27,260 to £28,888.

Responsibilities

• Clean production machinery after each run in line with food hygiene standards.
• Maintain high hygiene around machine areas for operator safety.
• Chemicals washing of production machinery and surrounding areas.
• Safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Operate and maintain hygiene equipment.
• Keep accurate hygiene records as per procedures.

Due to continued growth and high demand for our products, were expanding our team and looking for Hygiene Operatives to join us at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

As a Hygiene Operative, youll play a critical role in keeping our production lines running smoothly by ensuring everything is clean, safe, and ready for the next shift helping us deliver the highest-quality products to our customers.

Shift pattern

We operate a shift pattern covering days only 7am-7pm or nights only 7pm-7am. You will work a total of 14 days within a 28-day period. Typically, your working pattern will be as follows:
Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Week 2 - Wednesday & Thursday

Responsibilities

• To clean down all production machinery after each production run is completed in compliance with our Food hygiene and factory standards ensuring our productions lines are compliant and ready for the next order schedule.
• Maintain high hygiene standards around the machine areas to maintain Food and Operator safety.
• Chemical washing of Production machinery and surrounding areas
• Safe and careful handling of cleaning chemicals
• Operating and maintaining hygiene equipment
• Maintaining accurate and up to date hygiene records in accordance with company procedures
