Job description

Kepak is a global food company serving international retailers and food service household names with prime cuts of meat, on-trend food concepts and ready-for-market convenience foods.

Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfil has combined beef and lamb processing and packing facilities. We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers' counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.

Our Merthyr site is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly Hygiene team. This is a full-time, permanent position, working 6.00am to 6.00pm - 3 days on / 3 days off at £11.94 per hour.

Responsibilities

1. Keep all areas of the factory clean and tidy, meeting health and safety standards.
2. Waste disposal, sweeping and washing floors and walls, and adhering to PPE policies.
3. Ensure all staff areas are kept clean and tidy, including cleaning toilets, locker rooms, and corridors.
4. Assist within the laundry areas as and when required.
5. Effective communication with Supervisor/Team Leaders.
