Our client is one of the UK's leading bakery manufacturers with over 130 years of baking experience, producing bread and bakery products. They deliver around 1.3 million loaves daily throughout the UK and Ireland.

We are looking for Industrial Hygiene Operatives at our Avonmouth site on an ongoing temporary basis, with an opportunity to go permanent.

Key Info

• Position: Industrial Hygiene Operative
• Location: Avonmouth, BS11
• Pay Rate: £15.01 per hour
• Working hours: 06:00-16:00, 4 days on, 4 days off (ongoing)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-level cleaning of site, plant, and fabrication areas, including machinery and cleaning in place systems such as flour service bins, water tanks, and yeast holding vessels.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards
• Issue clean garments
• Clean utensils and equipment
• Manage cleaning supply stocks
• Remove, empty, and clean waste receptacles
• Accurately complete required documentation

You Should Be Someone Who Is

• Able to communicate clearly and concisely
• Able to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working in hot and loud conditions
• Willing to support in other roles as needed

• Proof of Right to Work: Passport, Share code, or Birth Certificate
• Proof of National Insurance: NI Card, payslip, or P45/P60
• One year of referencing details (Blue Arrow will assist with these)
• Complete a Food Hygiene test at home prior to induction (Blue Arrow will send this)
