Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking a Hygiene Operative to join its busy production site in Loanhead. You will carry out daily cleaning duties, deep clean machinery, and help maintain a safe, tidy work environment with full training provided.

The role offers ongoing support, skill development, and a stable, collaborative team where quality and safety are valued. Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Reliable and hardworking individual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow procedures accurately and work to high standards.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues when needed.
• Good time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous cleaning, hygiene, production, manufacturing, or industrial experience would be beneficial, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out daily cleaning duties in line with site hygiene schedules.
• Deep cleaning machinery and equipment, including strip-down and reassembly (full training provided).
• Cleaning production areas, including sweeping, mopping, washing trays and racks, and managing waste disposal.
• Operating cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, hot hoses, and industrial vacuums (training provided).
• Following cleaning procedures, work instructions, and company standards.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.
• Reporting any hygiene, safety, or equipment concerns promptly.
