Job Description

• Ensure all practices and procedures are carried out in line with Fowler Welch’s BRC policy - Health & Safety policy and HACCP plan.
• Maintain a clean as you go attitude and ensure potential hazards are dealt with quickly and efficiently, working to the standard required by the company.
• Proactively identify and report any defects or maintenance issues to line manager.
• Work at height if required (and you are competently trained to do so) as part of your daily duties.
• Support the wider Facilities and Site functions as required, subject to appropriate knowledge/training.
• Always be aware of Health and Safety for yourself and others.
• Use cleaning materials appropriately, as instructed and economically.
• 70% of the role involves external yard duties, and appropriate PPE must be worn at all times.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well in a team.
• Experience working within a logistics/warehouse environment.
• Ability to work at height and use jet wash to clean vehicles and loading bays.
• Ability to work outdoors for long periods or in a chilled warehouse environment.
• Ability to meet challenging deadlines in a pressurised environment.
• Flexibility during peak periods such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Easter, etc.
