Job Description:

Warehouse Operative

We are looking for a full-time and permanent Warehouse Operative. The ideal candidate would hold a Counterbalance Forklift Licence or be willing to undergo FLT Training to join our team at the Swindon Operations Centre, supporting our Washrooms, Healthcare, and Floorcare Divisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain relevant paperwork.
  • Prepare stock for drivers.
  • Keep stock areas clean and tidy.
  • Carry out stock takes as requested.
  • Perform tasks as directed by the Operations Manager.
  • Build good working relationships with team members.
  • Comply with health and safety legislation and procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Manual handling capability for large stock quantities.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices.
  • Use tools and equipment correctly, including safety gear.
  • Report equipment or clothing defects immediately.
  • Avoid shortcuts or unsafe practices.
  • Maintain a clean working environment.
  • Report accidents or near misses promptly.
  • Suggest hazard reduction strategies.
  • Participate in investigations to prevent recurrence.
  • Prioritize safety for oneself and colleagues.
