We are now looking for a Hygiene Operative to join our team at our Evesham site on a full-time and permanent basis.

Shift: Monday to Friday 09:00am-17:00pm.

Salary: £12.21 per hour / £16.19 per hour for 6th or 7th shift.

Job Description

• Ensure all practices and procedures are carried out in line with Fowler Welch’s BRC policy, Health & Safety policy, and HACCP plan.
• Maintain a clean as you go attitude and ensure potential hazards are dealt with quickly and efficiently, working to the standards required by the company.
• Proactively identify and report any defects or maintenance issues to the line manager.
• Work at height if required (and if competently trained) as part of your duties.
• Support the wider Facilities and Site functions as required, subject to appropriate knowledge/training.
• Always be aware of Health and Safety for yourself and others.
• Use cleaning materials appropriately, as instructed and economically.
• 70% of the role involves external yard duties, and appropriate PPE must be worn at all times.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well in a team.
• Experience in a logistics/warehouse environment.
• Ability to work at height and operate jet wash to clean vehicles and loading bays.
• Ability to work outdoors for long periods or in a chilled warehouse environment.
• Ability to meet challenging deadlines in a pressurised environment.
• Flexibility during peak periods such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Easter, etc.
